Joeys Juniors Provisional Grading has been released

As a club, we are satisfied with the allocated positions and will not be appealing.  That does not mean that there will be no movement, as other clubs’ appeals can affect our grades.

Our Club Secretary – Katrina Lonergan – will be in touch in the near future to share team player details.

We are still looking for coaches and manager for several teams so will finalise those as soon as possible.  I cannot stress enough that this is a club and it runs solely on volunteers.  We are all busy working and being parents and coaching, but the committee cannot do it all, so if you can, please volunteer for one of these crucial roles.  As a coach, we can offer training and software to support your efforts; and this year the Team Managers will also have a dedicated Teams Secretary in Anthony and Helena Lombardo.

Lock them in to avoid missing out on games!

2020 SSNA Comp Dates

• Kids should arrive at court 19, at least 10 minutes prior to their nominated session/s.
• They should wear plain comfortable clothes. WE will be using training bibs
• They should have something light to eat before they arrive
• They should have sunblock on, hair and shoes done when they arrive
• They should have water and snacks with them – especially if they are here for two sessions
• On arrival, your kids will need to check in with our team and have the necessary pen marker
• Parents, please gather for a quick chat with Maryanne on the adjacent court (14)
• After the chat, parents are asked to sit/stand on the far (lower) side of the court (not at the ends of the court and not either side of, or behind the graders on the cement block
• Please don’t question or approach the Grading Panel, either on the day or after the event.

• Check this page. If certain time slots are not viable due to weather, we will reschedule where needed.

Pre-grading clinic is on today from 4:30 for new players, and 5:00pm for all others.

This is also the last chance to try on a uniform 4:30 to 6:00 at the Bellingara toilet block.

Joeys Grading is now booked for Sunday 16th of February on the outside courts in the following time slots
10s: 8am – 10am
11s: 11am – 1pm
12s: 2pm – 4pm

If we have unsuitable weather we will revert to the following slots:

10s: Sunday 16 February – between 4pm and 7pm

11s: Wednesday 19 February – between 4pm and 7pm

12s: Thursday 20 February – between 4pm and 7pm

U16s SSNA Practical Grading – Saturday 29th Feb – time tbc

U10s SSNA Practical Grading – Saturday 7th March – 8:30am to 12:30pm

Joey’s Netball Club has been successful in getting shortlisted for two grants from the Federal Government, however, to get this across the line we need people to vote for our project. Please take the time to vote for both grants – it takes about 30 seconds each.
