The Rules
Enjoying the game of netball is greatly assisted by having a full understanding of the rules. This is not only true for players and coaches, but also very important for parents and spectators.
Therefore as a club, Joeys encourages all players from U12s and above to learn the Rules
Once you have reviewed the rules you can sit the online exam to test your skills. Umpire Exam (you will need to login with your MyNetball login).
As a refresher, we recommend and encourage all players and umpires to take the exam each year just before the season starts.
Following successful completion of the exam, those girls wishing to become courtside umpires can let the club know when they register. They will then be guided 
through the process by the Umpire’s Convenor and Mentors from the Club.
Umpiring is a great job for kids as it builds character, helps to increase netball skills, and is also a great way to earn some money.
Without umpires, teams cannot take the court!
