Winter Competition registrations

• Registrations open 1 Jan 2026 and close 14th Feb 2026. Please note registrations in some age groups may close earlier.

Saturday Competition starts on Saturday 21st march 2026 for Junior and Senior Players.

Friday Competition starts on Friday 20th march 2026 for 8s and 9s Players.

Please find information below regarding Joeys’ registration.

The fees include SSNA charges for players and their coaches; along with costs incurred by the club to supply netball bibs, balls, training equipment; plus club events and awards – such as trophies and premiership jackets. It also includes umpire costs for 8s, 9s and juniors. Seniors pay their umpires weekly. Joeys runs a comprehensive program to train our umpires.  We also ensure both umpires and mentors are paid for their time.  2026 registration fees include preseason training clinics for NET (3 skills sessions – Fridays Round 1 to 3 of SSNA Net Comp) and Joeys Junior Preseason Training for 10s to 14s (Sunday Feb 8th & 15th Feb).  In 2026 there will be a bonus Per4orm clinic for registered Joeys player 8s to 14s!!!!!

Player Uniforms

Active Kids voucher

The Active Kids program provides voucher towards the costs of kids sports.

If you wish to claim an Active Kids voucher please register prior to your voucher expiring.

NetSetGo program 

Who is this for?

Net (5-7 year olds) $120 – Register Here

Set and Go (Under 8s & Under 9s) $255 – Register Here

Where is it held? Bellingara Netball Courts 

When does it start?

• Our Net program commences Friday 20 March 2026.  Our skills sessions run for 3 weeks prior to our Joeys NET Teams entering the SSNA NET round robin.  For more details see our NetSetGo page
• Games for under 8/9s are played on Fridays from Friday 20th March 2026.  Teams will commence training on Fridays in Term 1 prior to the competition starting.

What do you need?

• All registered players will receive a NetSetGo pack by post.  All other equipment provided through the NetSetGo program.
• Joeys teams (8s to seniors) must wear the registered playing uniform, please see our Uniform Page. This can be purchased during registration.

8 / 9s Teams

• Under 8s & 9s teams are formed based on:
  • Friendship requests (2 names only)
  • Availability to play Fridays only or to play Fridays and train an additional day.
• Teams are a minimum of 7 players and a maximum of 10 players

When does it start? Games are played Saturday mornings from Saturday 21 March 2026 until August and break during school holidays.  Please note time slots will TBC in 2026.

What do you need?

• Joeys teams must wear the registered playing uniform, please see our Uniform Page. This can be purchased during registration.
• Under 10s player and anyone new to Joeys needs to provide a photo for their player card.  Please send this to joeysregistrar@gmail.com with your name and playing history for the past 3 years.

Junior Competitive Teams

• SSNA juniors is a graded sports competition. As a grading club Joeys junior teams will be formed after the Joeys Grading (held early February) placing your child in a team.
• Junior Block Teams: For 2026 individual player registration is preferred for players 10 to 15 years, and block team registration only for players 16 to 17 years will be accepted.  Team managers should contact joeysregistrar@gmail.com prior to submitting the 2025 Junior Block Team Request form. 
• 10s and 17s will need to attend club grading with Joeys and SSNA practical grading in 2026.  Other age groups TBC.

Senior competition – Saturday

Senior Team registrations

• • Seniors are welcome to form their own teams. Team Contact/Managers are to complete the Team Registration Form. For 2026 Senior Teams must have 8 to 12 players to be registered with SSNA.
  • If you do not have a team, please contact Joeys Registrar and we will assist you in finding a team
  • Full Senior & 18s Team Registration Form should be sent to the Joeys Registrar by Saturday 14th February.
    • A list of all players
    • A photo of any player new to Joeys (if not already submitted)
    • Indication of the grade you want to play in
