Registration for 2022 Summer Competition is OPEN

Sumer Team registrations

  • Form your own team. Team Contact/Managers are to complete the Team Registration Form.
  • If you do not have a team, please contact Joeys Registrar and we will assist you in finding a team

    Competition starts on Saturday 2 April 2022.

    Please find information below regarding Joeys’ registration.

    The fees include SSNA charges for players and their coaches; along with costs incurred by the club to supply netball bibs, balls, training equipment; plus club events and awards – such as trophies and premiership jackets. It also includes umpire costs for juniors. Seniors pay their umpires weekly. Joeys runs a comprehensive program to train our umpires.  We also ensure both umpires and mentors are paid for their time.

    Active Kids voucher

    The Active Kids program provides 2 x $100 voucher towards the costs of kids sports.

    If you wish to claim the 1st $100 Active Kids voucher for any player who will be enrolled in school in 2022 please:

    1. After January 1st, 2022 apply for your Active Kids voucher. (A voucher can only be used in the calendar year it was issued.)
    2. Then register to play with the voucher details you receive.  Unfortunately, if you register prior to obtaining a voucher you will not be able to claim the annual rebate as there is no retrospective use of the voucher.

    NetSetGo program 

    Who is this for?

    Net (5-7 year olds) $80 – Register Here

    Set (Under 8s & Under 9s) $210 – Register Here

    Where is it held? Seymour Shaw Park, Miranda

    When does it start?

    • Our Net program commences Friday 25 March 2022 and runs for 6 weeks with a break in school holidays (25/3, 1/4, 8/4, 29/4, 6/5, 13/5).  An optional Round Robin tournament for Net players starts on Saturday 7 May – at 11:45am. For more details see our NetSetGo page
    • Games for under 8/9s are played Saturday mornings from 2 April 2022, game times rotate weekly and break during school holidays.

    What do you need?

    • All registered players will receive a NetSetGo pack by post.  All other equipment provided through the NetSetGo program
    • Joeys teams must wear the registered playing uniform, please see our Uniform Page. This can be purchased during registration.

    Junior Teams

    • Under 8s & 9s teams are formed based on the friends nominated on the application form and in consultation with coaches and parents.
    • Teams are a minimum of 7 players and a maximum of 10 players

    Who is this for?  Under 10s – Under 16s

    What is the cost? $235

    Where is it held? Bellingara Courts

    When does it start? Games are played Saturday mornings from Saturday 2 April until August and break during school holidays.

    What do you need?

    • Joeys teams must wear the registered playing uniform, please see our Uniform Page. This can be purchased during registration.
    • Under 10s player and anyone new to Joeys needs to provide a photo for their player card.  Please send this to joeysregistrar@gmail.com with your name and MyNetball ID number.

    Junior Competitive Teams

    • SSNA juniors is a graded sports competition. As a grading club Joeys junior teams will be formed after the Joeys Grading (held early February) placing your child in a team.

    Senior competition

    Who is this for?  Under 18s & Seniors

    What is the cost? $235 plus umpiring costs

    Where is it held? Bellingara Courts

    When does it start? Games are played Saturday afternoons from Saturday 2 April until August and break during school holidays.

    What do you need?

    • Joeys teams must wear the registered playing uniform, please see our Uniform Page. This can be purchased during registration.
    • Players who are new to Joeys need to provide a photo for their player card.  Please send this to joeysregistrar@gmail.com with your name and MyNetball ID number.

    Senior Team registrations

    • Seniors are welcome to form their own teams. Team Contact/Managers are to complete the Team Registration Form.
    • If you do not have a team, please contact Joeys Registrar and we will assist you in finding a team
    • Full Senior & 18s Team Registration Form should be sent to the Joeys Registrar by Sunday 5 February.
    • These should include:
      • A list of all players
      • A photo of any player new to Joeys (if not already submitted)
      • Indication of the grade you want to play in
