Congratulations to our Joeys after the Finals

Our results for 2016 included the following teams who won their respective Finals games:

  • 16A3
  • 16C1

Congratulations to our other Joey teams who were Runners Up:

  • 14C1
  • 18 Division 4  (After a Draw at full time!)

Congratulations to all Joeys Players, Coaches, Managers, parents, supporters, umpires and canteen helpers!

What a magnificent day to watch netball! All games were played in such sportsmanlike way, displaying great friendship and support for each other.

All teams were winners! The last game of the 2016 Winter Season is complete. Well Done!!!

Congratulations to Joeys in the Finals

Congratulations to all Joey players, coaches, managers, time keepers, parents and supporters!

It was a great day at the courts last Saturday watching our Joeys playing, trying their best and displaying true sportsmanship throughout their games:

  • A fantastic effort to our 11C1 team whose 2016 season has unfortunately come to an end – Thank you to Hannah and Kim for all your time and efforts.
  • Our 10A, 13B2, 13C1, 14A2, 14C1, 16A2, 16A3 and 16 C1 teams will be playing again next Saturday
  • Congratulations to our 12B1, 13A and 18Div4 who all will be heading straight to the Grand Finals.

Awesome effort from everyone! Good luck for the next game and Go Joeys!

Also special thanks goes out to our Joeys Umpires who did a great job umpiring the games on Saturday and Sunday. Well done! What an honour it must have been to have such a wonderful opportunity to experience and be part of the Finals Series.

Registration for Waratah Cricket Nets Sutherland – Sunday 7 August

St Pats cricket – Play either mixed or girls only competitions (or both!)

  • Under 8s play for 90 minutes
  • Under 10s play for 2 hours and finish by 10am each week
  • Under 12s play for 2-3 hours

Under 8s and Under 10s rego fee $75, Under 12s, 14s and 16s rego fee $125 and you receive:

  • 20 weeks of competition
  • Discounted tickets to Sydney Sixers event including bus
  • Summer Presentation including jumping castles and water slides
  • Access to free cricket coaching from accredited coaches during the season
  • Free batting, bowling and wicket keeping clinics

Development Coaching Clinic July 23rd

  • Netball NSW is running a Development Coaching Clinic on Saturday 23rd July 2016 at Netball Central 9am to 4pm.

Course Prerequisites

  • Completion of a Netball Australia Foundation Coaching Course
  • Completion of the Section One Umpire Exam (online)
  • Participants must be at least 14 years of age on completion of the Development Coaching Course to be eligible for accreditation
  • All Development Coaching Course participants must be registered members of their local State/Territory Netball Association prior to accreditation being granted to ensure adequate insurance cover. To register please contact your nearest District Association
  • All participants must have a personal fitness level that will enable them to perform their normal coaching duties and where required to demonstrate skills at a slow pace Demonstrations are not compulsory and they are performed at the individual participant’s discretion.
